MOT Class 7

A Class 7 MOT is a legally required test for goods vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) between 3,000 kg and 3,500 kg. These vehicles typically include larger vans and light commercial trucks, such as the Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter.

The test ensures these vehicles meet the necessary road safety and environmental standards. Key components inspected during the MOT include brakes (service, parking, and ABS), steering, suspension, tyres, lights, and emissions systems. Other checks involve the vehicle's structure, mirrors, doors, and safety features like seat belts and airbags.
